Identity. The local tea station describes selection of an individual plant from the local Qilan population. Pale hairs on the buds help distinguish the name; mature leaves are green.
Scope. Baiya Qilan is a cultivar name and also appears on finished oolong. The cultivar alone does not establish that a product was grown in Pinghe.
