Notes#
The agriculture ministry’s 2014 technical collection records breeding in 1986–2004, provincial approval in 2005 and national appraisal in 2010 (国品鉴茶2010025). It describes clonal propagation, medium-sized leaves and suitability for oolong, green, black and white tea.
Its mother is Huang Guanyin, not Jin Guanyin. The name means “yellow rose”, but does not imply rose scenting or the yellow-tea processing category. Trial chemistry and yield figures are not fixed properties of every harvest.
