Colour and processing. New shoots can remain yellow across spring, summer and autumn. The register recommends green-tea production; yellow foliage does not make the processed tea a yellow tea.
Identity. Registered as GPD 茶树(2022)330017. Huangjinya is distinct from Baiye 1, Zhonghuang 1 and Baojing Huangjincha 1.
