Notes#
Selection. Farmers selected an individual plant in Luoxi, Yongjia; Zhejiang recognized the cultivar in 1988. It is a clone, not the entire local seed population.
Use. Suitable for green tea. Very early growth makes late spring frost an important cultivation risk. Wuniuzao can name the cultivar or a finished tea; the name alone does not establish a product’s origin.
