Notes#
The Ministry of Agriculture / CAAS collection, reproduced by the International Camellia Register, explicitly describes sexual propagation. Its historical names include Fohai Cha and GSCT14.
The profile describes very large, soft leaves, downy stout shoots and early sprouting, with relatively weak cold tolerance. These are population-level descriptions, not a guarantee that every seed-grown plant is identical. The register’s 1990 date refers to the cited publication, not proof of a 1990 breeding or approval event.
