Names and ambiguities#
Notes#
GB/T 19598-2025 restricts Anxi Tieguanyin to this cultivar and describes it as clonal, shrub, medium-leaf and late-sprouting. The cultivar record of 陈亮等 (2024), quoted by the International Camellia Register, places its origin at 松尧, Xiping town. The Anxi government profile repeats the two Xiping legends (Wei Yin about 1725; Wang Shirang 1736/1741). The Taiwan introduction is credited to 張迺妙 of Daping, Anxi: 1895 per zh-Wikipedia, 1896 per the Anxi government. Ploidy was not stated in any source read.
