Notes#
Mangshi’s 2024 agricultural guidance records single-plant selection during 1973–1985 and national recognition in 1987. It describes vigorous growth, yellow-green hairy shoots and strong rooting from cuttings.
The same guidance lists black tea, green tea, pu’er and De’ang sour tea as processing uses. These are suitability statements, not synonyms for the cultivar. A clonal selection from a local population is distinct from that entire population; Yunkang 10 is therefore not an alias of Menghai large-leaf.
