Parentage. The Chinese profile describes selection from natural hybrid descendants of Fuding Dabaicha and Yunnan Daye, without assigning seed and pollen parents. Registration: GPD 茶树（2020）330029.
Connections. Chuanmu 217 was selected from a variant individual of this cultivar. Zhenong 117 itself has medium leaves and is recommended for both green and black tea; Yunnan ancestry does not make it a Pu Erh style.
