Notes#
Breeding. The Hunan Tea Research Institute used Baihaozao as the seed parent and Gaoyaqi as the pollen parent. Registration: GPD 茶树（2024）430015.
Identity. This medium-leaf shrub is a distinct cultivar. It is not Zhuyeqi, nor Taiwan’s Hongyun (TTES 21), despite the overlapping romanized names. The profile reports floral character in its black-tea assessment.
