Definition#
Re-roasting. It has two uses: a further roasting round in normal refining, and a corrective roast to drive off absorbed moisture from tea that has turned 'green' (返青) or aged in damp storage, also called 复火 or 补火. Corrective re-roasting is done gently, since excess heat changes the tea further.
