Definition#
Fragrant and lasting: a rich, layered, elegant and persistent aroma (GB/T 14487-2017 2.4.6, English "fragrant and lasting"), It differs from 浓郁 ("strong and lasting"), which stresses intensity. In the Dancong scoring table of DB44/T 2816.5—2026, 馥郁 aroma marks the second (乙) grade, below 细锐 / 幽长 (fine, sharp and long).
