Common confusions#
- Weight is given variously (36.25 kg by Hunan Daily, about 36.5 kg by Babelcarp); the old 16-tael jin, not the modern 50 g tael, is meant.
- Origin dates conflict: 1821 for 100-tael rolls and 1863 for 1,000 taels (heritage listing) against Jiaqing–Daoguang (1796–1820) in Hunan Daily.
- Qianliang is the largest of Anhua's 花卷茶 ("flower-roll tea") logs, sold by old weight as 十两, 百两 and 千两; GB/T 32719.2-2016 covers the 花卷 type. The reading of 卷 in 花卷 is given as juàn by Babelcarp and juǎn by CC-CEDICT, so no pinyin is fixed here.
