Notes#
After the collapse of his securities business in Taiwan, Li Rui-ho (李瑞河) started again in Fujian in 1993, reproducing the Ten Ren retail model under the Tenfu name, with Zhangpu (漳浦) in Zhangzhou as its base. Global Views reported 377 Tenfu shops at the end of November 2003 against 123 for Ten Ren; the Liberty Times put Tenfu at over 1,200 shops in 2012. The holding company, Tenfu (Cayman) Holdings, has been listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange since 2011-09-26 (code 6868); its head office is in Xiamen. At the end of 2024 it had 1,349 own and third-party retail outlets and sold more than 1,300 tea products, with 天福 as the main brand. Li's sons hold senior posts in the group. Ten Ren (Taiwan) and Tenfu are separate companies with a common founder.
