Notes#

A January 2026 first-person report describes tea grown mainly for household use and hand-fired over a wood fire. A May 2026 interview with historian Patrick Hase also describes continuing Qingming harvesting. This supports village-scale activity, not a commercial plantation or guaranteed retail supply.
