Notes#
Wu and colleagues studied Baijiguan in a Wuyishan germplasm garden and under controlled light conditions. Shading parts of the leaves led to greener tissue and changes in chlorophyll and chloroplast structure. This is evidence about the living plant; it does not make the finished tea a white tea or prescribe a light roast. See Bai Jiguan for the processed tea.
