Names and ambiguities#

Selection or mutant?

TRES says Muzha farmers selected it; a National Chung Hsing University release calls it a local Muzha mutant. Neither calls it a chance seedling, and no discoverer is named in an official source.

12

Notes#

In Mingjian it gives the earliest spring and latest winter (冬片) crops, six to seven a year. With TTES 12 it is now the main cultivar there, having displaced part of TTES 13 (TRES). It is the third most planted cultivar in Taiwan (MOA).
