Selection. Taiwan’s Tea and Beverage Research Station selected breeding line 5313 through a programme begun in 2008; formal naming was approved on 11 June 2024.
Use. The station identifies green and black tea suitability and a focus on beverage-industry raw material. The number names a cultivar, not a finished-tea grade or a bottled-drink brand.
