Identity. The register attributes selection to the Hunan Tea Research Institute and records GS13036-1987 and GPD 茶树(2019)430017.
Distinction. Zhuyeqi is a named selection, whereas Qimen Zhuye is a separate seed-propagated population from Anhui. Similar characters in their names do not make them synonyms.
