What the records establish#
The Yunnan agriculture-department appendix identifies 8603 as Xiaguan raw Pu Erh in paobing form. The seller records a 357 g cake in 2007 and a Jin Bang 8603 cake in its 2019 catalogue. Those records establish repeated use of the number, not identical material in every edition.
Scope of the name#
Keep additional wrapper designations such as Jin Bang or FT with the production being identified. The plain number is not enough to merge differently named releases or infer their blend. A seller page whose URL, title and body disagree on year is excluded from the dated evidence for this entry.
