Notes#
TBRS identifies the parents as B-729 (mother) and B-607 (father). This is a bred cultivar, not a name for all Taiwan wild tea. Because its ancestry includes Taiwan wild tea, it is presented here as a Camellia hybrid rather than assigned entirely to C. sinensis var. assamica.
The breeder describes early sprouting, large leaves, an upright tree habit and sparsely hairy buds. Its black-tea profile includes a golden-red liquor and light cinnamon and mint notes. Those are reported cultivar-associated tasting characteristics, not evidence of added flavouring or a guarantee for every batch.
