In the 2012 comparison of ten Wuyi mingcong, Shui Jin Gui belonged to the later spring-picking group, while Tie Luohan and Beidou were earlier. That is a comparison within the study, not a fixed harvest date for every garden.
Stories place the original bush around Niulankeng or Tianxin; the biological study does not authenticate those origin stories. The region link therefore identifies Wuyishan broadly.
