Guanyin rhyme
Literal meaning
Guanyin + rhyme
Definition#
'Guanyin rhyme': the lingering, cultivar-specific aroma-and-aftertaste character claimed for genuine Tieguanyin, the Minnan counterpart of Wuyi rock rhyme. No standard defines it; the EU GI specification for Anxi Tieguanyin renders it 'YIN flavour' or 'Tieguanyin essence' and grades it from obvious to slight. Often shortened to 音韵.
