The company says 'since 1993' (the founder's start). Its timeline gives a trading firm in 2002 and the registered predecessor in 2006. CRI (2019) and CNPP's text say 2006, while CNPP's data field says 1993. Maigoo's 梅相靖白茶 page shows the same 2006-07-10 registration but says in its text that the company was founded in March 2012, probably meaning a 福鼎梅相靖白茶有限公司.
The company's own timeline starts in 1993, when the brand's founder entered the tea trade. In 2002 it set up 福鼎市亲情树贸易有限公司, which made its first tea-filled pillow. In 2006 it registered 福建省夫妻峰茶产业有限公司 with added capital and began stockpiling white tea. In 2010 it was renamed 福建省天丰源茶产业有限公司 and built a 10,000-mu garden base. It became a Fujian provincial key leading enterprise in 2011. In 2014 its 六妙 trademark was recognised as a China Well-Known Trademark. In 2017 it converted into the joint-stock 六妙白茶股份有限公司. It opened its 'China White Tea Cellar' in 2018 and became a national key leading enterprise in agricultural industrialisation in 2021.
Its estate is at 大坪村, 点头镇 (Diantou), Fuding. A 2019 Xinhua photo story was taken in its gardens there. The company and CRI give the estate as over 4,600 mu, 1,800 mu of it certified organic, with solar withering sheds and a cellar of about 50,000 m². Directory data give registered capital as 131.777 million yuan and the address as 点头镇茶业集中区B-6号; the company states 130 million yuan. Directory pages also list 庄长强 as an executive, and list the firm among drafting units of GH/T 1242-2019, GH/T 1454-2024 and GB/T 45884-2025.
Its sub-brand 梅相靖大师 carries the name of 梅相靖, a national representative bearer of the Fuding white tea craft (fourth batch, serial 04-1931). The ihchina record names no company, so the nature of his tie to the firm is not documented here.
