Fuding's best-known white tea brand house, founded 1992 by Lin Zhenchuan; flagship aged line 晒白金; large contract-farming base and nationwide shop network.
CNPP says the predecessor 一品香茶厂 was set up in 1992. Lanjinger and China Daily simply say the company was founded in 1992. The Xinhua-attributed 2025 profile instead describes 1992 as the founder's start in trading, puts the '一品香' stall in Beijing in 1998, and dates the Fuding factory to 2003. No source gives the registration date of 福建品品香茶业有限公司 itself.
Several company profiles call Lin Zhenchuan simply a 'heritage bearer'. The 2025 profile says he rose from municipal to national level. The ihchina national register does list him, under Ⅷ-203, but it shows no batch or year, and the older national bearer for the same item, 梅相靖, is in the fourth batch (serial 04-1931).
Pinpinxiang started in 1992, when Lin Zhenchuan (林振传) began trading tea. According to a 2025 profile reposted from Xinhua, he spent the 1990s selling Fujian tea, mainly jasmine tea, in north China. He moved into Beijing's Maliandao tea market in 1997, opened a '一品香' stall there in 1998, came back to Fuding in 2003 to build a factory, and started a first clean-processing line in 2004. In 2005 Fuding's government began building a public white tea brand, and he then turned the business entirely to white tea. The company owns the registered trademarks 品品香 (no. 1695081) and 晒白金 (no. 10972860).
In 2021 it publicly required written licences for online sellers using either mark. 中华合作时报 (2013) noted that 品品香 is a China Well-Known Trademark. 晒白金, a line of aged and compressed white teas sold in single-brew portions, is its flagship. A 2024 China Daily-hosted piece says 晒白金 had sold over 11 million units in the 11 years since launch, which points to a launch around 2013, though no source gives the year directly. Other milestones: a consortium model for contract tea gardens from 2018; a digitised white tea industrial park in Fuding running from early 2023; Michelin Guide partner for mainland China in 2024–2025.
A 2026 Fujian Daily Group page credits it with an automated refining line developed with universities. Its general manager there is 邵克平. Company claims include national key leading enterprise status in agricultural industrialisation, over 700 tea-culture outlets (2023), more than 800 shops (2025), and gardens of over 45,000 mu. These come from promotional profiles. Public roles of the founder: ihchina lists Lin Zhenchuan as a national representative bearer of 白茶制作技艺（福鼎白茶制作技艺）(Ⅷ-203), with no batch given. The craft itself entered the national list in 2011 (third batch, serial 1183).
In 2021 he was president of the 福鼎市茶业协会, the protection unit for that heritage item. Context: 福鼎白茶 has been a protected geographical indication since 4 May 2009 (AQSIQ notice 2009 No. 32); the EU filing names the People's Government of Fuding City as applicant.
