Identity and history#

At a March 2021 tea salon, Fuhai representative Cai Wenjing dated the factory’s first 7536 to 1999 and said numbers began appearing on its outer wrappers in 2005. This is attributed oral testimony in an organizer’s unreviewed transcript, not a contemporary production ledger. The event compared 2007 and 2021 examples.

Reading the name#

Grandness lists a 2007 raw cake of 357 g, while Fuhai’s 2019 year-end review includes 7536 among its releases. The leading 75 is not the manufacture year of those cakes and does not establish that Fuhai itself made this tea in 1975. Keep the producer name with the number.
