Identity and history#
Yunnan Daily’s 2022 report traces the enterprise to 1983 and records the name Menghai County Fuhai Tea Factory from 1998. These are a reported institutional history and a later naming date, not an independently checked incorporation date. Its location in Menghai does not make it Menghai Tea Factory.
Following the numbered families#
Start with raw Fuhai 7536 and ripe Fuhai 7576, Fuhai 8596 and Fuhai 7266. A recurring number identifies a product family; material, pressing, weight and storage still belong to the individual release. The manufacturer’s organic-garden claims should not be extended to every numbered tea.
