The "six ancient tea mountains" (古六大茶山) — Yiwu, Youle, Gedeng, Mangzhi, Manzhuan, Yibang — lie east of the Mekong (Lancang) in Mengla county and Jinghong. Lists vary between sources; record the variants when those entries are added.
