Notes#
Shuangjiang has two towns, Mengmeng (勐勐, the seat) and Mengku (勐库), and four townships. Tea is its main industry. The county reported 342,000 mu of tea gardens and tea output value of over 9.6 billion yuan in 2024, and tea was said to involve about 56% of the population. By 2024 it had more than 4,000 primary processing workshops. In 2025 the county opened a tea testing and traceability centre aimed partly at origin fraud, and Bingdao Laozhai tea gained national GI status. Seat weather station normals (1981-2010, about 1,044 m): mean 19.9 °C, 995 mm of rain.
