Notes#
Shengjian and Sheng Pu Erh#
Shengjian is the third member of the traditional Xiangjian sequence, after Tianjian and Gongjian. Hunan’s historical account distinguishes it by coarser dark-tea raw material. Sheng is part of this product name, not the Sheng Pu-er processing category: the two belong to different tea traditions.
