The Anhua dark tea GI (applied for in 2009, approved in 2010) covers about 7,000 km². It includes 22 towns and townships of Anhua, 6 of Taojiang (桃花江, 石牛江, 浮邱山, 鸬鹚渡, 大栗港, 马迹塘), 3 of Heshan (新市渡, 泥江口, 沧水铺) and 1 of Ziyang (新桥河). GI-marked products must use raw leaf from these areas.
