Definition#
GB/T 22291-2017 product name for white tea from tender shoots or leaves of Dabai, Shuixian or population cultivars, graded 一级 and 二级 only; the coarsest of the four. The China Tea Society primer describes it as one to three leaves, possibly with a dormant bud (驻芽). Much Shoumei is pressed into cakes. (Tea entity: shou-mei.)
