Definition#
Even: the upper, middle and lower fractions of the dry tea are consistent in thickness, length and size and in suitable proportion, with no missing middle grade (脱档). GB/T 14487-2017 lists it among general dry-leaf shape terms (2.1.8, English equivalent "even"); synonyms are 匀齐 and 匀称.

Common confusions#
- Applies to the dry-leaf fractions; for infused leaf the standard uses 匀 (even) and 杂 (uneven).
