Common confusions#
- Assumed to apply to all oolong; yancha is strip-shaped and not ball-rolled.
- MOA describes traditional Taiwanese shaping as hand-kneading cloth balls (包布球) many times, later partly mechanised with a 布球揉捻機; a re-rolling machine that removed the cloth-wrapping step was completed in 1998 and demonstrated in Mingjian on 20 June 1999. Babelcarp treats 团揉 as a synonym of 压揉.
