Min (Fujian) + south + oolong

Definition#

Southern Fujian oolong, centred on Anxi (Tieguanyin), Huang Jin Gui, Yongchun Foshou and similar. These are typically cloth-rolled (包揉) into curled or ball shapes and today are often lightly oxidized and lightly roasted. Included as a contrast to Minbei/yancha.
