浓香型濃香型
Term · Classification
rich-fragrance style
Literal meaning
dense + fragrance + type
Definition#
'Rich-fragrance type': the roasted style of Minnan oolong, especially Anxi Tieguanyin, with dark glossy leaf, golden to orange liquor and roasted-grain or caramel notes; the EU GI specification calls it 'heavy flavor'. A third trade type, 陈香型, is tea stored at least five years. Taiwan's TRES uses 焙香型 ('roasted-aroma type', e.g. Dong Ding) for the corresponding class.
