Definition#

The large printed slip packed inside, or fixed to the side of, a shipping case or bamboo basket of factory pu'er, giving the product name, export number, batch and quantity. It belongs to the case, not to a single cake, and is used as batch evidence in the collector market.

Common confusions#

Confused with 内票 (slip with each cake) and 内飞 (ticket pressed into the cake).
Loose 大票 are traded and reused, so a ticket alone does not prove what case it came from.
