湿仓濕倉
Term · Storage
wet storage
Literal meaning
wet warehouse
Definition#
Storage in high humidity, sometimes deliberately added, to accelerate ageing; associated with traditional Hong Kong and Guangdong warehouses. It darkens tea quickly and can leave musty storage odour; overdone it causes mould. 'Wet' and 'traditional' storage are often lumped together but are not identical.
