地仓地倉
Term · Storage
underground storage
Literal meaning
ground / earth storage
Definition#
Storage of tea in underground or below-grade rooms, usually in bulk and in a warm, humid climate, so that conditions are damper than an ordinary dry store. It blurs the usual line between dry (干仓) and wet (湿仓) storage. Converted air-raid shelters in Zhaoqing, Guangdong, are a documented example of underground pu'er storage.
