Names and ambiguities#

Riverbank tea or any non-rock tea in the county

Zhoucha (洲, 'river islet/bank') is described as tea along the Nine Bends River and Chong'an riverbanks. It is also described as flatter, deeper-soiled land outside the rocky terrain, and in some Chinese tiering as anything in the former Chong'an county outside the Wuyi range. Because all of these still fall inside Wuyishan City, zhoucha can legally be sold as 'Wuyi yancha'.
